Hello from bayou county,
My name is Brian from the Monson clan.I just wanted to drop a line to let know how much I enjoyed my visit last July.I was very impressed with the professional appearance of the band and in the quality of the performance.I envy my siblings they clearly love being a member of the band but most of all they love the people involved.I like to think if I were a Monson-knight once again I would be proudly wearing a kilt also.I like to thank everyone keeping an eye on my brother Dennis through-out his recovery.(Don't let him over-do it) I am looking forward to my next visit to the home-town. ( Perhaps we may par-take in one or two socials at Mustang Sally) Wishing you all the best,Brian & Claudette

P.M. Bill Short:
I enjoyed talking with you at the Open House last Thursday night, as well as the performance of the band itself.
I do have few questions to throw at you concerning my possible future association with the band:
1. Would you please give me the cost for purchasing uniform items such as the large plaid, the small kilt, bonnet, hackles, regimental socks, and blue summer shirt? I believe that I have the rest of the uniform kit.
2. Would I be able to attend band practices on an irregular basis rather than weekly? I still feel obligated to my current band at least through the next calendar year before I could separate entirely and join the QH.
3. Would participation as a full piper (following auditions of course) be a
possibility? Many thanks for your attention to this email. I look forward to
hearing from you. Best regards, Tony

I perused your website after learning that long-time friends, Tina and Bruce, were part of your unit. As a friend of Tina's for almost 30 years, and seeing her perform over the years in several bands in many different capacities (singer, sax and flute player, etc), I was thrilled to find she is still making music.
Ah, yes, music will always be our life !!!! Way to go, Tina & Bruce !!!!
(Thank you for your wonderful website--keep up the good work!)

Your band makes me proud to see how that you have grown when other
bands are not as fortunate, for the lack of leadership that you and
your officers have provided to the future for young pipers and drummers
GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS
